From Open Mic to 'I Do'-Hannah Sexton

Andy Aiken took me to Syd's for our first date in 2023. It was blistering hot in July and we sat outside front and talked for hours. It was not too long after, he asked me to be his girlfriend on the stairs outside of Howdy Bub Lounge. 08/02/23. I'll never forget it.

Syd's open mics became a regular date night on Wednesday nights and he proceeded to introduce me to people who have become my best friends and band mates during that time. We have so many memories of Lauren and JJ and all the greats who have since moved on to do big things. We met Angel  who we love dearly.

We decided we were going to start The Regulators one night sitting at the bar and took our first ever promo photo upstairs.

We got married at the courthouse on 1/22/25 and Syd's was our very next stop. It was only right to lose on pull tabs and eat a sandwich at the place that started it all. We miss a lot of the old crew but are still happy to have Syd's to call home. We may not always live in walking distance(like we do now) but it will always have a special place in our hearts for every reason. We LOVE Syd's.
